Common questions

Is it safe to pay through PayBills?

Yes. You enter your card on our acquiring bank's own payment page, so your full card number never touches our servers - we receive only the brand and last four digits for your receipt. The account numbers and saved payees you enter are AES-256 encrypted at rest.

How fast does the payment arrive?

Most mobile top-ups are credited within 30 seconds of the card charge clearing. Utility bills typically post within 2-5 minutes depending on the provider.

What rate do you use?

PayBills sets its own exchange rate, and that rate includes our margin, so it differs from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan reference rate. We show the total in your local currency, but your card is billed in US dollars - in Uzbek soum if you are paying from Uzbekistan with a soum card. If your card is not a dollar card, your own bank converts that dollar amount at its rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee, so your statement can differ from the figure we show. The total and our commission appear as separate lines before you pay, and nothing is added after that.

Which cards can I use?

Visa and Mastercard issued anywhere in the world, and UzCard and Humo through our Uzbek partner banks. Apple Pay or Google Pay may also appear on the payment page, depending on your bank.

Can I top up any phone in Uzbekistan?

Yes - we support all major operators: Beeline, Ucell, Mobiuz, Uzmobile, and Humans. We auto-detect the operator from the phone prefix.

Are my payments protected?

Yes - every payment is protected. If a bill can't be completed, your card is refunded automatically and you're never charged for a payment that didn't go through. You'll see a "REFUNDED" status in your history with a downloadable receipt.

Do you have an iOS or Android app?

The Android app is on Google Play now. There is no iPhone app yet - the website works on every phone and computer in the meantime, and the Telegram Mini App needs no install.
